McClendon Benefits
McClendon Benefit Contribution:
We will contribute up to $1,100/monthly to an employer paid benefit allowance to help cover all or the majority of employee Basic Life/Accidental Death & Dismemberment, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, Health, Dental and Vision Insurance election premiums. If an employee should have a remaining balance from the employer-paid benefit allowance after enrolling in the above benefits the balance will be contributed to an employer-paid Health Care Flexible Spending Account (FSA) and may be used to pay for eligible out-of-pocket medical, dental, vision and over-the-counter health care expenses. Funds remaining in the account at the end of the plan year will be forfeited.
Health:
Our comprehensive medical coverage is provided by Aetna allowing employees to choose from two PPO plan options with prescription drug coverage.
Dental:
Our comprehensive dental coverage is provided by Guardian allowing employees to choose from two plan options with an individual annual plan maximum of $1,500 (excluding child orthodontia). Both plans provide a maximum rollover feature that allows a portion of each member’s unused annual maximum to roll into an account to use in future plan years.
Vision:
Our comprehensive vision coverage is provided by Avesis, Inc. and is an employee required benefit election, dependent coverage is optional. Plan offers an examination and pair of lenses once every 12 months and frames once every 24 months. A $10 Co-payment applies for an exam and a $25 co-payment applies for optical materials.
Life Insurance:
Employees’ group term life insurance is provided by Standard Insurance Co. at (2) times their annual salary up to $500,000. Supplemental life may be purchased for the employee and/or their dependents.
Short-Term/Long-Term Disability:
Disability insurance is provided by Standard Insurance Co. Short-term disability provides payments of 66 2/3 of your weekly salary up to a maximum of $2,000/wk. for 13 weeks. Long-term disability provides payments of 66 2/3 of your monthly earnings up to a maximum monthly benefit of $10,000.
401(k) Plan:
McClendon provides a 401(k) plan administered by Fidelity that offers a broad array of investment options allowing you to save for retirement on a tax deferred basis. You are eligible to participate on the 1st day of the month following your hire date. McClendon matches 100% of employee contributions of up to 4% per pay period in L-1 Identity Solutions Stock. Employees are always 100% vested in their salary deferral and employer matching contributions.
Employee FSA – Section 125 Cafeteria Plan:
Flexible Spending accounts (FSA) are reimbursement accounts that allow employees to take advantage of tax laws to pay eligible dependent care and out-ot-pocket medical expenses with tax deferred dollars. Both Dependent care and Medical reimbursement accounts are offered.
Vacation Leave Benefit:
Paid annual vacation leave is accrued per calendar year by all regular employees on a bi-weekly basis beginning on the first full pay period following your hire date.
Less than 5 years 3 weeks
5 – 9 years 4 weeks
10 + years 5 weeks
Unused vacation at the end of the calendar year may be carried forward to the next calendar year. Upon employment termination up to (80) hours of accrued, unused vacation leave may be paid out to employees who have provided at least a two week notice of resignation.
Sick Leave Benefit:
Paid sick leave benefits are accrued by all regular employees on a bi-weekly basis at the rate of 10 days per calendar year beginning on the first full pay period following your hire date for temporary absence due to illnesses or injuries. Unused sick leave at the end of the calendar year may be carried forward to the next calendar year. Unused accrued sick leave is not paid out at the time an employee terminates employment.

Horizoncare Assistance, an around-the-clock employee assistance program that offers support, quidance and resources to help you and your family resolve personal issues.
CollegeAmerica 529 Savings Plan:
McClendon sponsors a CollegeAmerica 529 Savings Plan that provides a convenient, tax-advantaged way for employees to save for college expenses.
Tuition & Training
We support and offer opportunity to employees to remain current with advances in their discipline and to continue formal education in order to improve or maintain job related skills. We encourage participation in professional associations and seminars.
Referral Bonus
We offer a generous bonus for active employees who successfully refer candidates.
- $8,000 for hired, TS cleared candidates with a Full Scope polygraph
- $5,000 for hired, TS cleared candidates without a polygraph
- $1,000 for Secret cleared candidates, administrative support staff and un-cleared hired direct/billable candidates.
Compensation
Employees are paid on a bi-weekly basis consisting of 26 bi-weekly pay periods. Employees receive annual performance reviews upon their anniversary dates.
